A talk with Bimi Ibok, Nogin’s Photo Studio Director.
At the end of 2024, Bimi and I met to discuss AI content development, specifically the application of AI Fashion Models for in-house studio operations and client picture creation.
This is a 30-minute chat, so get some coffee and join us. We discuss a variety of topics in this chat, and Bimi provides some excellent examples, many of which are made in-house at Nogin.
We examine the desire for quality control in AI photography, how to match it with brand vision, some of the issues with representation and diversity, and the problem of achieving realistic outcomes. Bimi also notes some of the practical benefits for clients, such as the capacity to react to trends and elevate content while remaining within client budgets.
We talk about the potential loss of engagement caused by in-person Model Casting vs Model Prompting, as well as the ongoing discussions about Beauty Standards, Image Sign-Off, and creative vision.
Thank you, Bimi, for sharing your personal ideas and Nogin Studio work.
